I wish I was the type who could give myself cool manicures like this, but I’m completely inept when it comes to painting nails just one solid color, so I can forget trying anything remotely fancy. (I bought new base coat and polish for the first time in years and then tried and failed at that newsprint manicure like 3 times, you guys). Sure, there are tons of places to get your nails done cheaply in NYC, but I’ll pretty much always choose to spend that $10-$15 on an awesome meal or a movie instead.
