if anyone knows, could you tell me what code you need to add to get those to display directly on your page (i.e. not just on the dash)? like jacob has on his tumblr and like the spiffy new awesome tumblecal has too. e-mailed jacob to ask recently, but got no reply and can’t figure it out from viewing page source.

Roommate and I went there today. I actually learned a lot from their current “The Sex Lives of Animals” exhibition. Things they never teach you in biology class. Could have done without seeing part of the Paris Hilton sex tape (was featured in “Sex and the Moving Image” as a celeb example). Overall, it was interesting and fun (and funny) and educational.

Agreed. I read that article when it came out last year. D’Angelo was never one of those people I wondered “what ever happened to….?” about, but it is a really well written and revelatory piece.

Kind of pissed that it took SO LONG for Super Shuttle to get me home from the airport. Really interesting. I only read Arabic phonetically and took one semester of it in an attempt to learn it conversationally, so my knowledge of the language is limited to that. Still, though, I find it interesting that for nearly all of the brand names, the “translation” is an entirely phonetic representation of how you would/should pronouce it English.
