Not having comments on your tumblr in this day and age? Tsk, tsk.
I kind of like not having comments…it makes me less sad to have zero comments. :-)
Ditto.
i need help
ohgrowup:
i have a blackberry curve. and a)i can’t listen to any of your music posts on it. no flash. is there an alternative?
2)how do i listen to music on it? can i listen to a podcast on it? how do i get it on the phone?! boo.
i have the same phone, and i don’t think there’s anything you can do to get flash posts to work. my other major gripe w/ tumblr on blackberry is that i...
So pissed off
The internet connection has a green light (connected) but nothing will load. Seriously interfering with my tumblr addiction. Also probably the universe’s way of telling me to get off my butt and go run the errands that I didn’t do yesterday.

The All American Rejects - Womanizer
I’m no fan of this band, but this is quite good.
Shirtless guy in overalls tapping together beer bottles for percussion! Thanks for the LOL, but I still prefer Lily Allen’s version of it.
how exactly does one make new friends...

I’m being serious here. I don’t know how?
It’s easy in college, when you’re surrounded by people your own age, in classes with people who share common interests, meeting new people every day, etc etc.
But…then once you’re out of that scene, how do you find people? How do you make friends?
I wish I knew…I’m having a hard enough time making friends while in college...
Movies I have watched as a result of being in Massapequa since Wednesday with pretty much nothing else to do:
Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (unbelievably terrible)
Definitely, Maybe (that Abigail Breslin is pretty cute)
Brick (great, as previously mentioned)
Little Children (Scott hated it; I thought it was disturbing but interesting)
I Am Legend (half payed attention...

– “The Polaroid - Imperfect, Yet Magical” - NYTimes.com
I haven’t used my Polaroid in over a year because of the cost, but the discontinuation of the film still makes me sad. I’ve gotten some pretty amazing accidental shots with it that just don’t happen with digital.
semi-unnecessary post
dear tumblr secret santa,
if you have been checking up on my tumblr to see if i got whatever you sent in the mail, sorry! i have not been to my apartment in a week, seriously. my roommate confirmed nothing was there for me by christmas eve, but i was camped out at my buddy’s apartment while writing my final paper for a few days. then i was dragged out to long island on thursday and held...

My dad’s snoring is currently killing my sleep. My first natural instinct is to smother him with a pillow, but I don’t believe that doing so is very Christmasy.
Plus, I don’t think I’m strong enough to rip out our sink and throw it through our window.

Strip Club Poetry
rachelhotchkiss:
i am in the bathroom you are still sleeping i know when i go back to bed you will still feel sticky and smell of titties. your breast i will not bite because it is sore from that stripper named autumn (who was also a ginger). she might have had a fire crotch but we will never know because it was a titties bar, not a vag bar. and well, let’s face it she probably shaved it off...
I forgot...
to do the obligatory “I’m done with finals!!! No school for a month!!! Woohoo!!!” post after I turned in my paper at noon, so there it is.
Pseudo-celebrated with Sriracha fried rice lunch special at this place, which just might be my favorite meal to have out at a restaurant in the city. Currently, anyway.
I have been holed up at zorked’s place since Saturday with my...
Why everyone on Orkut is Brazilian
superamit:
In the earliest days of Orkut (Google’s also-ran entry into social networking), the property managers featured a fun little widget at the top of the site: a country-counter, showing members’ geographical origins. Cute, right? Harmless, certainly. Google had no way of knowing, however, that the entire population of Brazil would make it a point of national pride to push their country to...

he says to you: “bitch! get me some waffle fries! and a chicken sammich!” at least he laughed and apologized right after.

Reblogging for the truth quotient of the statement I bolded.

I am over the 3,000 (minimum) word limit
…but I am still not finished actually doing a good job on my paper. I hate when that happens.
BTW - my paper is on Jezebel’s coverage of Sarah Palin (femme blog, female candidate, new media, blogs and politics, that kind of thing), and I want to shoot myself for choosing it, but my professor thinks it’s a really great topic.
I used to regularly read that blog for the fashion...
My grandmother died last night.
She was my last surviving grandparent, and I was never particularly close to her, but I still feel so awful that I hadn’t been to India in so long to see her one last time.

Intro to Bunnetics Workout Video
A few years ago, my friends found this VHS at a thrift store and bought it (they actually tried doing the exercises too) because the title and photo on the cover ensured that it would be comedy gold. Never thought I would be able to find a clip of it online, but here it is.
I subscribe to College Callgirl’s feed in Google Reader (even though she hasn’t updated in ages), and it’s always interesting what Google recommends based on that subscription. Like “The increasingly risque confessions of a suburban hotwife.” Hotwife, really? Did not click.

Can anyone recommend any blogs that are similar to this one, but updated more frequently?
As much as I love the short form and instant gratification of Tumblr, I also enjoy reading longer, more narrative, slice-of-life type blog posts from people who are funny and write well. Reblog w/ a link if you know any good ones.

Sigh. No further comment.
